Rockeyez Review of Miss Crazy "II"

Starting things off is a great instrumental that bounces from ear to ear shivering your bones then the annihilation takes its course with “Mow” this track almost sounds a bit like LED ZEPPELIN mixed with traditional MISS CRAZY style. One thing I noticed right off the bat, the songs are a little heavier and the guitar work this time around is vastly better. “Mow” is one helluva tune to start the ball rolling and should be a fan favorite, check the guitar licks by Eric Bouche on this little gem and Markus just out does himself on the vocals.

You want kick ass check “Living Without You” if your neck isn’t snapping and your feet aren’t tapping go directly to the mental ward something is wrong with ya. Just a phenomenal tune, the guitar riffs are catchy an all around great tune. This is the one that you have to crank up. I just loved this tune!

One thing for sure MISS CRAZY has a cream of the crop harmony section which you can hear on “How Long Now” and check out the new sweetness on the thundering bass Brandi Lee, luscious isn’t she and plays a mean bass line also.

Another killer tune is “When It’s Over” the elevation that MISS CRAZY possesses is remarkable, the songs are balanced from a driving force to melodic yet always holding their patented charisma. Every song is catchy and has great guitar riffs, Markus has that magical voice, and the ability to write classic tunes that will push MISS CRAZY to the top.

“Left Me Here To Die” mellows things out with an amazing ballad in the mold of CINDERELLA, this is a can’t miss track for MISS CRAZY fans. All I can see is Markus singing this song with a tear in his eye, ala KISS’ “World Without Heroes”.

You heard ACCEPT’s “Balls To The Wall” well “I Know What I Know” has a tasty riff just like that and Eric Bouche goes off the charts. This is another solid release by MISS CRAZY, I’m sure fans will click to the new line-up, which is more powerful with a stronger musicianship.

“MISS CRAZY II” leaves you with one of the best tracks “Say You Will”. It’s another hard-hitting tune with a flowing chorus that will drive the fans wild. All I can say is pick up the new CD once it’s released… you will not be disappointed. Produced once again by the masterful Ronnie Borchert.
